  • day #12

At this rate, this would be day 13..

why is this blog written so late? because today has been one jammed pack day and I wasn’t “free” enough to be able to write something.

    1. I did go for my usual morning swim. It’s been exactly 1 week, and i do NOT see any improvements to my body whatsoever. :( i would LOVE immediate results but to no avail. It’s no wonder so many people give up exercise. I know, i know… these things take time and eventually the weight will shed off. RIGHT??? it frackin better because if it doesn’t….i’m going to swear off exercise forever.

    2. I also had to go to the office today because my colleagues wanted to do a proper send off, basically when i got asked to leave on the Friday (this being almost 2 weeks ago), many people didn’t get to say goodbye…

I got a card and a pink handbag… which was nice.

What wasn’t nice was the lunch that I had with my colleagues (as of the 21st of September I can officially call them ex colleagues). We went to the local pub and ordered $15 steak and chips. Mine was supposed to be medium but it came over OVERLY well done which of course made the steak really tough to eat. I am not a big fan of overcooked steak.

Still gives me the shivers thinking about it.

Actually, the steak wasn’t as bad as the cherry chocolate cake from the cheesecake shop that my manager had purchased. Not a big fan of cherries unless it’s extremely fresh…arghz. I took one bite out of the cake i was given and regretted it, i regretted it even more because i had been given a large piece to eat. double arghz.

    3. I also met up with the girls from book club to have our usual get together dinner. Now for those who want to be technical, we’re not really a book club because we haven’t actually formally finished an entire book as a group, individually some of us have. We should call ourselves the “dining out club”.

so there you have it… lots to do today..
